The foyer of the Theater Hall on the first floor of Hitachi Systems Hall Sendai, which is the venue for the competition.

KORYU Salon is a space organized and operated by the participant support volunteer division, aimed at supporting the stay of participants in the Sendai International Music Competition and facilitating communication between the participants and the citizens.

To all participants of the Sendai International Music Competition
If you encounter any difficulties during your stay in Sendai, please feel free to consult with us, the volunteer staff. We have prepared a place where you can relax and ease the tension of the competition.

To everyone who has come to see the Sendai International Music Competition.
This salon is a space to deepen communication between the competition participants and the citizens. During the competition period, we have various exhibitions and events prepared, so please feel free to come to this salon.

KORYU Salon has three purposes.

Useful information provision and all-purpose support desk for participants.

We have information on practice rooms, instrument repair shops, restaurants, daily goods stores, and tourist information.
We also provide supplies such as irons, sewing kits, and chargers. Please feel free to make use of them for your own benefit.
If you have any problems, please tell us first.

Rest area for participants（This service is exclusive to participants.）

We have prepared a break area.
You are free to enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks.
There is free Wi-Fi available, and there is also a PC corner.

A space for communication between participants and citizens

・We have prepared a space where participants, citizens, and competition officials can come freely and communicate with each other. And you can freely eat, drink, and chat there.
・We are displaying support messages for the participants in the salon.
・We have monitors available for viewing the competition.
