Dainohara Forest Park is located very close to Hitachi Systems Hall Sendai that is the competition venue of Sendai International Music Competition. As the name shows, the park has forests with lush greenery.

Not only on the main route all around the park, you can enjoy walking on “Path of Konara Oak” or “Path of Japanese Red Pine.” There are also a big pond, a square of lawn, and commemorated square on a high point from where you can get a view of the whole park.

Many contestants of Sendai International Music Competition in the past visited Dainohara Forest Park to relax breathing fresh air.
