A comprehensive park located along the Nanakita River in Izumi-chuo. The park features a relaxing pond, a lawn area, a children’s playground, and an Urban Greening Hall with a greenhouse and cafe.
Izumigaike Pond with a fountain spreads out in front of the beautifully landscaped flower beds, providing a contrast between nature and artificial objects such as Yurtec Stadium Sendai and the subway.
The greenhouse in the Urban Greenery Hall features elaborate seasonal displays.
A commemorative tree for the 1st and 3rd Sendai International Music Competition is planted in a corner of the lawn area near Yusui-zan (spring water mountain) in the center of the park.
