★Challenger’s Live Concerts

Four free live concerts for Sendai citizens are held with the cooperation of contestants who are unable to advance to the next round. These concerts are wonderful opportunities to listen to great performances by young talented musicians with fine techniques. We are preparing a meet and greet between citizens and musicians after their performances.

■Master Class given by SIMC Jury Members

The “Master Classes” are held on the days after the semi-final rounds. Young musicians selected beforehand from all over Japan and some contestants who are unable to advance to the next round take part in the open lessons given by the jury members. In the both piano and violin section, 24 lessons are scheduled during 4 days in total. The public are able to view the lessons and have the opportunity to feel close to the jury members and their musicality.
